Aelith ("the App") is a minimalist global radio app for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, and your rights.

3. Firebase Analytics
Aelith uses Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how the app is used and to improve the listening experience.
Firebase Analytics collects only anonymous, aggregated data such as:
- App open frequency and session duration
- Feature usage events (e.g., search, explore, favorites)
- Device type, OS version, and app version
- Country/region (derived from IP, not GPS)

4. RevenueCat (Subscription)
Aelith uses RevenueCat to manage Pro membership subscriptions. RevenueCat receives an anonymous purchase receipt token issued by Apple — it does not receive your name, email, or payment card details.

5. How We Use Information
Collected information is used solely for the following purposes.
- App Services: Playing global radio stations, managing favorites, exploring by country and genre
- Multi-Device Sync: Synchronizing your favorites across Apple devices via iCloud (Pro only)
- Subscription: Validating and restoring your Pro membership via RevenueCat
- Improvement: Understanding feature usage via Firebase Analytics to guide development
We do not sell or share your favorites or usage data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention & Deletion
- Favorites & Settings (Local): Stored on your device and permanently deleted when you uninstall the App.
- Favorites (iCloud, Pro): If iCloud sync is in use, uninstalling the App alone does not remove your iCloud copy. To fully delete iCloud data, go to Settings → Reset All Data before uninstalling.
- Subscription Data: RevenueCat's anonymous receipt tokens are governed by RevenueCat's retention policy. Contact us to request deletion.
- Analytics Data: Firebase Analytics retains aggregated, anonymous event data per Google's data retention policy.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have the following rights.

- Right of Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data

9. Children's Privacy
Aelith is not directed to children under the age of 13 (US) or 16 (EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you become aware that a child has used the App, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate steps to delete the relevant data.
10. Security
Favorites and app settings are stored using iOS UserDefaults and SwiftData, protected by the device's file system encryption.
When iCloud sync is enabled (Pro), data is transmitted to and stored in Apple's iCloud under Apple's encryption policy, both in transit and at rest. Your data is never transmitted to our servers.
11. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated due to changes in law or service updates. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notifications or this page.
Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
