Demiva ("the App") is a minimal life-log app for tracking recurring tasks — recording when you last completed them and reminding you at the right interval. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, and your rights.
By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2. Information We Collect

3. Analytics, Crashlytics & In-App Purchases
Demiva integrates three third-party SDKs: Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC), and RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) for in-app purchase management.
Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage events (e.g. which features you tap, whether an item was created or a reminder was snoozed) and a randomly-generated app instance ID. It never collects your task titles, notes, or any other content you type into the App. Ad-related data collection (ad storage, ad personalization) is explicitly disabled — Analytics is used only to understand feature usage, never for advertising.
Firebase Crashlytics collects, only when the App crashes: device model, OS version, app version, crash location (stack trace), and timestamp (UTC).
RevenueCat manages the Demiva Premium in-app purchase. It generates an anonymous purchaser ID (not linked to your Apple ID, name, or email) and processes your purchase and restore transactions with Apple to determine whether Premium is unlocked on your device.

4. How We Use Information

- Notifications: Scheduling local reminders based on your settings
- Premium Access: Validating and restoring your in-app purchase via Apple and RevenueCat
- Stability: Crash diagnosis and bug fixes via Firebase Crashlytics
- Product Improvement: Understanding feature usage via Firebase Analytics (anonymous, never for advertising)
We do not sell or share your task and log data with any third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing.

6. Data Retention & Deletion
- Task & Log Data: Stored on your device. Permanently deleted when you uninstall the App.
- Purchase Data: Anonymous receipt tokens and RevenueCat purchaser records are governed by Apple's and RevenueCat's retention policies.
- Crash Reports: Firebase Crashlytics retains crash data for 90 days per Google's policy.
- Usage Analytics: Firebase Analytics retains anonymous event data per Google's default retention policy.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
8. Children's Privacy
Demiva is not directed to children under 13 (US) or 16 (EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has used the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Security
Task and log data is stored via Apple's SwiftData framework and protected by iOS file-system encryption. Your data is never transmitted to our servers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy due to changes in law or service updates. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification or this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
