Getting Started
Tap the Settings tab → Manage Workplaces → tap the + button. Enter your job name, hourly wage, and choose a color. Your first job is always free.
Pattern Mode is for rotating shift workers (e.g., Day → Evening → Night → Off). You define a repeating cycle and Emvron automatically fills your entire calendar.
Flexible Mode is for part-timers and irregular schedules. You enter shifts manually day-by-day, or set weekly recurring shifts for a job.
Yes. Emvron is fully functional without iCloud. All your data is stored locally on your device. iCloud sync is optional and only activates when you are signed into iCloud on your device.
Schedule Management
Go to Settings → Manage Workplaces and select your job. Under Pattern Mode, define your shift rotation (e.g., 2 days on / 2 days off, or D-E-N-Off cycles) and set the cycle start date. Emvron's PatternResolver engine automatically generates your full-year schedule from there.
Yes. Emvron Pro supports multiple jobs. You can add a second job from Settings → Manage Workplaces → +. Each job has its own color, and on days with multiple shifts, Emvron stacks them and calculates your combined income.
The free plan allows one job only.
Tap any date on the Calendar tab to open the shift detail sheet. From there you can edit the shift times, add notes, or delete that individual shift record.
An overnight shift starts on one day and ends the next (e.g., 22:00 – 06:00). Emvron uses ShiftDate objects to handle date-boundary crossings correctly — your income and alarm are attributed to the shift start date, and duration is calculated accurately across midnight.
Income & Earnings
Emvron multiplies your hourly wage by worked hours, automatically accounting for break time. Overtime rules (US: 1.5× after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week) are applied based on your region settings.
Korean users can also enable the 주휴수당 (Weekly Holiday Allowance) calculation for part-time jobs that meet the 15-hour weekly threshold.
When you clock in, the Income gauge ticks up in real time — showing exactly how much you've earned since your shift started. It updates every second so you can see your earnings grow as you work.
This is Emvron's core dopamine-driven UX: income first, schedule second.
On the Today tab, tap Clock In when your shift starts and Clock Out when it ends. Emvron records your actual hours and updates your income calculation accordingly.
If you forget to clock out, Emvron sends a reminder notification 30 minutes after your scheduled end time.
Alarms & Notifications
Emvron reads your upcoming shift schedule and automatically creates system alarms in your iPhone's Clock app. When your schedule changes, Emvron updates or removes alarms to stay in sync — no manual alarm management needed.
Smart Alarm Sync requires permission to manage alarms. Make sure you granted permission during onboarding. If not, go to Settings (iOS) → Emvron → Allow Managing Alarms and enable it.
Also ensure at least one job with an upcoming shift is configured.
Every time you open Emvron, it runs a background scan to verify that all scheduled alarms match your current shift data. Any orphaned or outdated alarms are automatically cleaned up. This ensures 100% alarm reliability even after reboots, schedule edits, or overnight clock-in sessions.
