Getting Started
Tap New Project on the Home tab and give it a name, client name, and site address (both optional). Every measurement, photo, and comparison you record afterward is attached to that project so it stays organized for the final report.
Six tools, all reachable from inside a project: AR Ruler Pro (distance), Level Pro (tilt/level), Photo Tagger (annotated site photos), Light Tracker (ambient brightness), Noise Analyzer (ambient dB), and Before/After (paired comparison photos).
AR Ruler Pro
Aim the crosshair at a surface until it turns blue, then tap the capture button to place the first point. Aim at the second point and capture again — the distance appears instantly, and you can add a note before saving it to the project.
Eutaxis rates every device by its AR hardware:
- GOLD — devices with LiDAR. The most accurate measurements, especially on featureless or textureless surfaces.
- SILVER — devices without LiDAR use camera-based plane detection instead. Accurate on well-lit, textured surfaces, less reliable on blank walls or in low light.
- BRONZE — devices that can't run AR world tracking at all. AR Ruler Pro is unavailable; the other five tools work normally.
Every reading also shows a confidence badge (High / Medium / Low) reflecting the current surface and lighting, independent of your device's tier.
ARKit needs a moment to re-orient itself after a sudden motion, low light, or a plain/reflective surface with nothing for it to track against. Move the phone slowly over a textured surface until tracking recovers — your points in progress are preserved.
Level Pro, Light & Noise
Level Pro reads your device's built-in motion sensors directly, in degrees or as a grade percentage. Use Set Reference to zero out a slightly-off surface (like a phone case) before taking a reading, and Reset to return to the device's true zero.
No — they estimate lux from your camera's exposure metering and decibels from your microphone, which is useful for quickly comparing rooms or spotting a problem area, but isn't a substitute for a calibrated light or sound meter. See our Terms of Service for details.
Photo Tagger & Before/After
Capture a photo, then tap anywhere on it to drop a pin and choose a tag type — 💬 Note, ⚠️ Issue, or ✅ Done — with an optional caption. Tap an existing pin to edit or remove it. You can tag up to 3 points per photo on the free plan.
Capture a "before" photo, then come back later (same session or a future visit) and capture the matching "after" photo. Both appear side by side wherever that comparison is shown, including in the PDF report.
PDF Reports
A cover page with a summary of the project, a measurements table, your annotated photos, and any Before/After comparisons — laid out as a paginated inspection document you can hand to a client or file for your own records.
The free plan generates unlimited reports with a small "Eutaxis (Free)" watermark. A future paid plan will remove it — see the Free Plan section below.
Free Plan & Data
Up to 5 active projects, up to 3 tags per annotated photo, and a watermark on PDF reports. Delete an old project to make room for a new one if you hit the limit.
Before uninstalling the App or resetting your device, export or share any PDF reports and photos you want to keep using the Share button.
Open a project and use the ··· menu to delete just that project, or go to Settings → Delete All Data to erase everything at once. Both actions are immediate and permanent.
